Caisteal Chamuis, meaning Castle Camus in Gaelic, is a blended malt Scotch whisky brand from Mossburn Distillers. This heavily-peated blend comprises malt whiskies sourced from Scotland's western isles. The 12-year-old version is initially matured in refill American oak hogsheads before a secondary maturation in two types of oloroso sherry seasoned casks: 230-liter American oak barrels and 500-liter European oak butts. It is bottled at 92 proof without added color or chill filtration.
