About this bottle
Golden Wedding, a Schenley brand, originated as an American whiskey with roots dating back to 1856. In 1920, Lewis Rosenstiel acquired a distillery holding Golden Wedding barrels, marketing it as medicinal whiskey. Following the end of Prohibition, the brand continued and was reclassified as Canadian Whisky in 1948, with its production relocated to Valleyfield, Quebec. This value-oriented whisky is presently aged for three years in white oak barrels at the Black Velvet distillery in Lethbridge, Alberta. It commands significant popularity in Newfoundland, Canada, outselling all other whiskies on shelves there. This product is not currently offered in the United States.
