About this bottle

Santo Spirits was established by musician Sammy Hagar and chef Guy Fieri. The Reposado Tequila is crafted from 100% blue weber agave sourced from Jalisco's Highlands. Master Distiller Juan Eduardo Nuñez oversees its production at El Viejito Distillery. Following steaming of the agaves in stone ovens, they are crushed, fermented, and then twice distilled in copper pot stills. After aging for 5 months in ex-bourbon barrels, it is bottled at 40% ABV.

Served neat. It's a pale straw color. The aroma presents crisp, fruity agave, hints of aged wood, white pepper, and citrus. Vanilla and caramel are minimal. The initial taste features sweet agave, light oak, mild black pepper, subtle vanilla, pear, and melon. The finish is a soft, flat sweetness with vanilla and a touch of black pepper. A fantastic reposado for those who enjoy prominent agave with less oak influence.

This is among my preferred sipping tequilas. It's smooth and silky; I've increased my rating from 4.0 to 4.5 after further enjoyment.
