A light scent of dark maple syrup and vanilla. The taste is sweet but not excessively so. It has orange citrus with a hint of butterscotch. I must locate the Tawny or Sherry cask edition, as it is surely to be excellent. The rating reflects sipping it neat.
A beautiful color, a gentle and rounded nose and initial taste, followed by a distinct and strong finish. A very complete rum.
Aroma: Lemon zest, honeycomb, sweet cream Taste: Maple syrup, pastry, crisp orchard fruit Aftertaste: Very crisp and thin
Musk, cigar boxes, macarons with caramel, Norwegian holiday cookies, maple syrup
Excellent rum with a wonderfully satisfying finish.
