Royce Ricci 4.3

Batch L-0011 2012 52.3% ABV Espadin 10 years old From Don Lorenzo Angeles Mendoza Lots of clay and acetone on the nose, with hints of lavender and vanilla. More clay on the palate, along with vanilla, light smoke, delicate mint, and strawberry rhubarb pie. Clay and smoked strawberries with mint linger indefinitely in the finish. Surprisingly smooth considering the very high ABV. One thing is certain: the people at Real Minero are masters of their craft.

Ryland Guidry 4.5

If you see this brand, it is worth your time. This expression has a strong alcohol content of 50.29% with aromas of minerality, a bit of agave and fruit, and a significant amount of alcohol that is almost acetone-like. Adding water transforms this into a smoky, earthy agave powerhouse with a hint of pepper spice and a pleasingly thick, oily mouthfeel.

Mila Christian 4.5

Not overpowering with a pleasant finish, lacking the artificial taste I often detect in mass-produced Espadin. It's somewhat difficult to acquire, making it a worthwhile purchase if you appreciate delicate flavors that retain Espadin's characteristic smokiness.
