From OOLA Distillery in Seattle. Found for $23 in Washington state. Sampled neat and in a gin and tonic. A light aroma of flowers and citrus, with minimal juniper or spice and no ethanol. It leaves thin trails in the glass. The taste in the mouth is similar--light, watery (remarkably watery!), with a floral sweetness, very little juniper or pine, no depth or spice, and not much citrus or berry flavor from the huckleberry. It's thin, sweet, and uninspired. Lacks mouthfeel and any significant finish--it's just light and vanishes. Quite disappointing. If you're seeking a gin devoid of its own flavor or character (what one might call "vodka" 😄), this is it. Though listed at 80 proof, it drinks like it's 20 proof. It adds nothing to a G&T, just blandness. I dislike being so critical. Rainier beer! Rainier beer! I felt compelled to include that for those who recall the old Rainier beer commercials from the 70s and 80s.

Produced at Seattle's OOLA Distillery, Rainier Mountain Fresh Gin incorporates huckleberry, spruce, and juniper. This Northwest-style gin is bottled at 80 proof. Rainier Brewing Company was established in 1878. This gin represents the brand's first non-beer release since the Prohibition-era Lime Rickey. It became available in Washington in September 2020, with Oregon availability soon after.
