Citrus and mint notes linger. This is an American-style Gin. Its full body and strong flavor are very botanical, far more so than a French or London Dry style. In my opinion, only one other gin matches its intense flavor. Excellent in a gin and tonic, but potentially too botanical for a dirty martini.

About this bottle
The Brandywine Branch Distillery, situated in Pennsylvania near Philadelphia, produces the Revivalist gins. Their four main gins reflect a seasonal approach to gin production, with Equinox representing a spring expression. Classic botanicals, with an emphasis on citrus, are used alongside less common ones like meadowsweet and hyssop. Fermentation takes place in custom Douglas Fir wash backs, and distillation occurs in hybrid CARL pot/column stills.

Slightly spicy, but not peppery. A touch of coriander. Some kind of hazy juniper and mellow wood flavor.
Smooth, still new to gin. Lots of juniper but an incredible aroma and a smooth/short finish.
Spicy and herbal notes are present. A hint of peppermint emerges near the finish.
