St. Augustine is a charming city - I thoroughly enjoyed my visit there and anticipate returning now that my relatives have a vacation home nearby. It is quite hot and humid, however...meaning at least one gin and tonic daily is essential for well-being. The staff at St. Augustine Distillery provided just that, and the gin was not only delicious but an ideal base for a G&T. It features plenty of citrus, along with a grassy, herbal spice that lingers. I only had limes available, but I might have preferred grapefruit with this in a G&T or rickey. Truly excellent.

About this bottle
The St. Augustine distillery is situated in Florida's St. Augustine, recognized as America's oldest city. Their products emphasize the area's rich history and abundant natural resources. This gin utilizes 100% Florida-grown sugarcane for its neutral spirit and local citrus. To maintain the spirit's freshness, all botanicals, including juniper, coriander, angelica, lemon peel, and cassia bark, are ground just before use with a vintage hand-mill.

This crisp gin from St. Augustine Distillery in Florida is made with a neutral spirit from 100% sugar cane grown in Florida, 4 types of citrus, and a dozen botanicals, all produced in a pot still. It starts with a fragrant aroma carrying hints of berries, fruits, herbs, and spices. Its crisp character introduces notes of juniper, angelica, and coriander, leading to a smooth, medium-length finish. May 2024
New to this spirit but I must say this is a great gin. Goes very well with a high quality tonic such as Fever Tree. In my opinion this is worth the $10 premium over big name brand gins. 4 years later and love love love this gin in G&T’s. Have purchased many bottles of this for summertime drinks. 6/22/23
I was informed this would be less harsh than most gins... And they were correct. I would surprisingly consume this quite often. As I am new to the spirit, I can only confirm the prominent citrus notes I detect, along with the standard juniper.
A well-made gin, it just doesn't have the juniper notes I favor. Nice 94 proof! Attractive bottle and label, but at $40 for 750 ml, it's not a cost-effective purchase. I prefer a 1.75 ml bottle of Beefeater for the same price.
A spirit from St. Augustine, Florida, featuring a traditional taste of juniper and lemon. It's dry with a touch of sweetness. Pleasantly impressive in a 5:1 martini using Dolin Dry and a lemon peel.
