About this bottle

This single grain whisky is the second of four XOP Platinum releases from Douglas Laing, marking the brand's 70th anniversary in 2018. Distilled in January 1978 at the now-closed Port Dundas distillery in Glasgow, it matured in a refill hogshead cask. Bottled in May 2018 at cask strength (59.1% ABV), this single barrel release was not chill-filtered, has no added color, and yielded 168 bottles. It became available in June 2018.
