About this bottle

Although Girvan has produced single grain whiskies available through independent bottlers, a single grain whisky from any distillery released at this advanced age is uncommon. Predominantly made with corn and matured primarily in American oak, this bottling is essentially a follow-up to their 25 Year Single Grain, but considered a superior sequel.

Ashley Needham

n: The high proof makes it spicy and alcoholic, with hints of smoke and vanilla, reminiscent of bourbon. p: It's extremely sweet with a rich, smoky, and spicy character from the high proof, possibly with apple notes. a: It finishes with a bitter oakiness.
