About this bottle

Pantalones Tequila, an organic tequila brand co-founded by Matthew and Camila McConaughey, debuted in October 2023. Produced from 100% blue Weber agave at a certified organic family-owned distillery in Amatitán, Jalisco, the reposado variant rests for 9 months in American oak barrels before bottling. Initial distribution is at select Total Wine locations in TX, CA, FL, AZ, NV, and online, priced at $44.99 MSRP.

A complex, organic, gluten-free Agave Spirit from NOM: 1614 in Jalisco (Los Valles), Mexico, twice distilled in Stainless Pot with a Copper Coil, then aged for 9 months in American oak barrels before bottling at 40% ABV. It has an aromatic beginning with notes of agave, earth, dried fruit, nut, herbs & spices; a medicinal character adds notes of apple, olive & maple, leading to a complex, medium-length finish with notes of white pepper, oak, vanilla, coconut & cinnamon. For those who prefer a mild tequila, this is fantastic. It's light on the palate and gentle on the nose. A wonderful, sweet vanilla emerges at the end and lingers. This tequila is alright, alright, alright.
