An intense, flavored agave spirit from NOM-O20X in Matatlan, Mexico, recognized as the "World Capital of Mezcal." It's made with Espadin agave and double-distilled. The aroma presents with notes of agave, herbs, and spices. The flavor profile develops with notes of candied agave, leading to a well-rounded, medium-length finish featuring notes of earth, pepper, and a touch of smoke. Sampled in April 2017.
