Osborne Carlos I Solera Gran Reserva Imperial XO Brandy de Jerez is created from a blend of aged eaux-de-vie. Some of these have matured for over two decades in American oak casks that previously held the company's own Amontillado and Oloroso Sherry wines. The brandy is bottled at 38% ABV.

This is a delayed review. It clearly shows more age and sophistication compared to the younger Carlos I. The woody notes are more prominent, yet I still detect that hint of cacao. It also has a more leathery character.
A traditional brandy from Jerez. Aged oak imparts earthy tobacco notes, along with dried fruit, cacao, vanilla, burnt caramel, and nuts, finishing dry. It's a shame they added coloring.
