About this bottle

Distilled by Bodegas Carbonell in Aguilar de la Frontera, this Spanish brandy originates from Airén grapes sourced from La Mancha. It spent fifty years aging in a single Oloroso Montilla cask, making it exceptionally rare. Production was limited to 720 half-bottles (375ml), and it was bottled at cask strength without any added sugars, colorings, or other adulterants.

Carol Schmitz 5.0

An amazing pour with hints of raisins, dark chocolate, mocha, espresso, treacle, butterscotch, figs, dates, plums, ginger, candied oranges, morello cherries, raspberries, cola, leather, tobacco, Christmas cake, smoke, jasmine, lavender, apricots, quince pears, Parma violets, cinnamon, nutmeg, and hazelnuts.

Jude Leblanc 3.5

Smells peaty and subtly sweet... a really interesting combination. The taste is peaty with a perfumed finish.
