About this bottle

Lepanto, a premium brand from González-Byass, holds the unique status of being the sole Brandy de Jerez produced entirely from beginning to end within Jerez. Lepanto PX Gran Reserva is crafted from Palomino grapes harvested in the region. The grapes undergo a double-distillation process in the Los Arcos cellar using two Charentais pot stills originating from Cognac in the 1960s. The resulting distillate, known as 'horanda', ages for a minimum of 15 years in a solera system within sherry barrels. These barrels were previously used for bourbon, then spent 12 years holding Tio Pepe sherry, followed by 3 years with Noe, a Pedro Ximénez sherry aged for 30 years.
