About this bottle
Distilled in 2004, this cachaça was likely among the initial batches produced by Novo Fogo. The distillery employs repurposed oak for aging; bourbon barrels are dismantled, their staves sanded, re-charred, and reassembled into new barrels. Barrel number 89 aged for approximately nine years before being bottled in 2013. Currently unavailable, only 240 bottles were released in 2014.
