Yesenia Custer 4.5

What region is North of Scotland? The Faroe Islands? Svalbard? In this instance, we're referring to a long-defunct grain distillery from the Lowlands. Distilled in 1970 and bottled after forty years, the nose is captivating with scents of strawberry yogurt, pine needles, and nougat. Custard, dried herbs, and wood polish emerge. Following a sweet and aromatic initial impression, the palate develops with notes of candy floss, menthol, and coconut. Complex spices, black tea, and reappearing strawberries conclude in a robust and enduring finish. A magnificent and delightful grain spirit, evoking the taste of a past era.
