A balanced 55-year-old North British single grain, made in May 1962 and aged in a single refill hogshead until June 2017, bottled with an outturn of just 221 bottles. It starts with notes of roasted coffee beans, caramelized dates & a hint of spiced rum; the middle adds notes of mature oak, buttered teacake & treacle tart; leading to a rich, sweet & floral finish of medium length with notes of honey & vanilla.
