About this bottle
The third offering from Nelson Brothers, this Rye Whiskey marks the return of rye production at Nelson's Green Briar Distillery, a feat not accomplished since before Prohibition. With the original pre-Prohibition formulation no longer available, co-founder and Head Distiller Andy Nelson, along with his staff, opted to reverse the grain ratios found in the company's bourbon recipe for this particular bottling. This whiskey was revealed in October 2023 and is anticipated to be sold across the country. (Suggested retail price $36.99)

The aroma is gentle, sweet, and fruity. The taste features stone fruit and spice. The finish is moderately long, with increasing spice.
Neat: Fruity, like cotton candy, with rye spices. Okay.
