A sophisticated Grande Champagne mix, made by the Master Blender and a collaborator for the Boinaud Family. The main component is 38-year-old spirit, enhanced by other, even older Grande Champagne liquids. The casks underwent additional toasting and the spirit was bottled at 42% ABV. It begins with a fragrant aroma of cooked fruits, wood, florals, soil, and spices. A full-bodied and piquant experience follows, featuring tastes of citrus, stone fruit, grape, cinnamon, and floral notes like jasmine, violet, and iris. This culminates in a lengthy and harmonious finish with hints of oak, caramelized custard, tobacco, cigar packaging, and sandalwood. September 2023
