Smoky, bright vanilla on the nose. Smoother, with light earthy soil notes on the palate. Citrus is well in the background. Sweet. One of my favorite finishes on a mezcal: a decrescendo that doesn't overstay its welcome. I suspect a bourbon or whiskey drinker could also appreciate this. Recommended either way.

Distilled at Real de Minas Distillery in Santa Catarina Minas, Oaxaca, Mina Real Mezcal Silver is distinct for its use of un-charred agave espadín piñas. This mezcal undergoes double distillation in traditional clay-pot stills and is presented unaged at 40% abv.
