Acquired this due to its low cost. It was not what I anticipated from an añejo, and now I understand its $44 USD price tag. It had significant burn for an añejo with minimal oak or sweetness. A lesson learned: avoid budget añejos. I enjoy the silver and reposado varieties of Milagro for mixing, but I was seeking a sipper, and this is certainly not it. 8/4/23

Quite smooth. Mild flavor, possibly some caramelized notes but certainly not sweet – just not bitter at all. Very soft on the palate. No dominant upfront flavor.
Takes the Reposado and pushes it a bit too far. There's slightly more barrel influence and subtle smokiness. It loses the smooth, rounded aroma and mouthfeel of the less aged version.
Subtly sweet, fruity, and very mellow. Minimal warmth going down, with no harsh burn. A slight peppery finish. Good value for the price. I can enjoy sipping this. Recommend purchasing when on sale.
The nose is fruity. Fruit flavors come through on the palate, along with woody and smoky notes. The finish is short but potent. A good introduction to añejo tequila.
Smooth enough to drink without a chaser. I nearly finished the entire bottle at my sister's wedding.
