Sauza Conmemorativo Añejo Tequila, like other products from the brand, received a bottle redesign in June 2015 while retaining its name. This tequila serves as an accessible entry into the añejo (aged) category. It is crafted from 100% Blue Agave and matured for 18 months.

The Tequila I always keep stocked. Not 100% Blue Agave but enjoyable just as much straight as in a classic Margarita (I use freshly squeezed lemon, lime, and orange juice in place of Sweet/Sour mix, no salt, on the rocks, with Grand Marnier instead of Cointreau). Note: When I say "straight," I mean in a tulip-shaped glass or snifter SLOWLY, NOT a shot!
A decent Tequila, but I've experienced better. The nose is dominated by black pepper, which unfortunately carries over into the taste, creating a distinctly unusual beverage.
Quite potent; it requires significant mixing with other ingredients, but it goes down easily. Tried with Jose Cuervo's pineapple mix, which lacked flavor and wasn't very good.
A straightforward Tequila añejo, nothing exceptional but perfectly suitable for good cocktails or spontaneous shots.
I was too intoxicated to fully appreciate it, but it was quite good. A pleasant level of spice.
