- Citrus and mild smoke from agave - Smoky, meaty, and minty - Intense flavor that vanishes abruptly before a smooth, tasty finish with the same taste profile - Wonderful development of flavor and finish. I appreciate the smoke, but the meaty taste is less appealing; otherwise, it's fantastic

About this bottle
Convite Mezcal Espadin Madrecuishe is a blend of espadin and wild madrecuishe agave, harvested at 8 and 13 years of age, respectively. Production involves traditional methods, including cooking the agave in an underground stone oven, crushing with a tahona pulled by a burro, and natural fermentation in wooden vats. The mezcal is twice distilled in a copper pot and bottled at 42% ABV.

Significant smoke and a subtle orange taste, exceptionally smooth and pleasing. I could easily enjoy this for an extended period.
Tobala at La Lupita CSL. Mild earthy and spicy notes. Very smooth.
