About this bottle

Marca Negra crafts mezcal from various regions, employing diverse agave species and mezcaleros. Their tepeztate expression originates from San Luis del Rio, Tlacolula, Oaxaca. It is made from wild 100% agave marmorata (tepeztate) plants that were 25-30 years old. The mezcalero, Jorge Véndez Ramirez, opted for a double distillation in copper pot stills, and the spirit is bottled without any additional aging. This mezcal is produced in limited quantities.
