About this bottle

Gracias a Dios, guided by maestro mezcalero Oscar Hernández Santiago, prioritizes fair trade and sustainable methods. The organic espadín agave used is eight years old when harvested and undergoes a double distillation process. Following distillation, the spirit matures for four months in former bourbon casks.

Ariella Gamboa 4.0

I'm a whiskey enthusiast, but I could definitely enjoy this! It has a smoky aroma and taste, initially sweet, then leading to a subdued dryness and oak notes at the end. I've tried a young mezcal before, but I much prefer the complexity imparted by barrel aging.

Marvin Norwood 3.3

Spicy, smoky, and floral. It reminds me a bit of a scotch due to the smokiness and sweetness.

Isis Painter 4.3

Smooth, with a subtle smokiness that is intriguing without being overwhelming.

Cooper Mayfield 2.5

A very smoky smell and flavor. I wouldn't sip it straight, but it might work in a smoky margarita.

Pete Battle 3.0

Too much wood.
