Founded in 2010 by a collective of dedicated agave enthusiasts, Bruxo is a mezcal venture. Each bottling is produced in a different Oaxacan region by a unique mezcalero or maestro. This particular expression, made from barril maguey aged 12 to 15 years and transported to the distillery by donkey due to its remote harvest locations, is the creation of Tio Conejo.

I'm not disappointed with this. Lounging on my floatie next to a friend. Very floral on the nose and palate. It tastes like walking into a luxurious resort. I detect notes of daisies, lilies, and lavender... it's like springtime in my mouth. Delicious.
Exceptional. This mezcal offers less of the burnt rubber note typical of the spirit and more a genuine smoky character, akin to a peated scotch.
The aroma is very vegetal, with potent agave, new tires, smoke, mushrooms, spices, wood, and mint. On the palate, it's peppery, with agave, smoke, wood, and caramel.
Intense smokiness at first, which fades fairly quickly, with notes of nutmeg and a muted taste - excellent for the smoke and full body.
Nose: immense smoke, like consuming a smoker. Palate: vast smoke, like imbibing a cigar.
Wonderful mouthfeel, nearly velvety. Very accessible smoke. Unusual finish.
