Mezcal Descartes Cooked Agave

Sampled neat with a friend. On the nose, it's like a dessert, offering intense aromas of brown sugar, nectar, honey, agave, and sugar cubes... need I say more? It's overwhelmingly sweet on the palate. It tastes as if I'm actually chewing on agave.

Smells of vanilla, caramel, green agave, and brown sugar. Extremely sweet with a touch of the medicinal. Overpowering; perhaps better suited for cocktails.
