About this bottle
This mezcal originates from the Mexican state of Guerrero and is crafted from cupreata agave plants aged between 7 and 12 years. The cupreata agave thrives in difficult conditions, growing on high-elevation rocky cliffs. Following harvest, the agave piñas are cooked in a wood-fired underground oven, then processed with a mechanical shredder, and finally fermented in pine wood tanks. The liquid undergoes a double distillation in a copper pot still and is bottled at 86 proof.
