About this bottle
The Glenallachie introduces Meikle Tòir, a peated single malt whisky brand utilizing mainland peat from St. Fergus and locally sourced malted barley from Scottish producers. The Original expression is matured for 5 years in a mix of first-fill bourbon, American virgin oak, and rye barrels, with a peat level of 35ppm and a bottling strength of 50% ABV. After its UK debut in late 2023, it will be available in the US starting February 2024 at $75.
