About this bottle
Dating back to 1715, Martell is the oldest of the "Big Four" Cognac houses, which also include Courvoisier, Hennessy, and Rémy Martin. The founder, Jean Martell, was born on the Channel Island of Jersey. Their L'or (meaning "gold") expression, first introduced in 1992, is a blend of hundreds of aged and rare eaux de vie from the Grande Champagne and Borderies regions, with some dating as far back as 1871.
