I often visit near Central Lake, being from Michigan. I've sampled many gins with a dominant pine character that can be challenging to drink straight. Mammoth's gin is certainly an exception. They incorporate substantial amounts of sage and other citrus elements, substituting some traditional ingredients in the production. Truly exceptional gin. I recommend savoring it neat or on the rocks rather than in a cocktail.
