This is a really unusual one. This type of agave isn't commonly found in stores. It starts sweet and floral, then quickly shifts to some very odd tastes. Grapefruit, herbaceous notes, a dark cocoa, hints of dark espresso, possibly even some wasabi? The finish is fairly short, a touch sweet, with minimal, almost unnoticeable smoke (which is fine), lacking minerality and dominated by cocoa. Could this be an everyday drinker like an espadín? I doubt it, but I can say this is a very strange mezcal that I'm glad I tried at least once!

This is a rather unusual mezcal. It doesn't have much burn at the end, but it's more bitter. Personally, I wouldn't buy it again, but the flavor was certainly interesting.
Subtle, pure agave aroma. Agave, honeydew, white pepper, and minerality on the palate. It has a light body with a clean, fast finish.
