Luna de Jalisco

A clean, additive-free Agave Spirit from Jalisco (Los Altos Southern), Mexico by NOM 1545 (IJW Whiskey), aged in former Kentucky Bourbon barrels. It presents an aromatic opening with tastes of cooked agave, wood, fruits, botanicals & spices; its life is herbal with notes of thyme, oregano, a trace of citrus & caramel; culminating in a floral finish with hints of jasmine, gardenia & a touch of oak, vanilla & pepper.

I found this tequila to be smooth and unique, with some allspice on the finish. Great for sipping or mixing in cocktails!

Adequate, not very exciting.
