About this bottle

Soberano, a brand originating from González-Byass, has a history dating back to at least 1913. Its brandy is crafted from the must of Airén grapes, cultivated in La Mancha and distilled using a column still. The resulting spirit is then transported to Jerez for aging in ex-bourbon casks that formerly held sherry, utilizing a solera system.

Initial impression: raisin. Pleasant, smooth body with nutty and creamy characteristics. Surprisingly good for a 1A Brandy.
