I struggle to identify every distinct flavor in this brandy, but the overall blend is wonderfully pleasant. There's an odd lingering taste I dislike, which I've noticed consistently across two bottles, though it's not a dealbreaker. This is an interesting brandy because, as I understand it, it's made similarly to cognac but from Moldova. Considering it's a 10-year grape brandy crafted in a cognac style, it's priced comparably to VS cognac where I am, making it a great value. Ultimately, I find it a truly interesting and quite good brandy at a very reasonable price, suitable for both mixing and sipping. It possesses a more intricate flavor profile and superior smoothness compared to most, if not all, cognac options in a similar price range. It has become the standard brandy at my home bar, alongside the Torres 10 year and St Remy XO and Signature.

Attended a gathering hosted by a friend from Moldova. Wonderful fruitiness and mellow wood notes.
