Kathryn Rowe 3.8

Second tasting. The first one was consumed quickly. Intrigued, I am now satisfied. It's not groundbreaking, but it's a successful experiment at a fair cost. I won't detail the long history of the cask construction, but I can confirm they significantly impacted the final product, imparting a fresh, woody spruce aroma. Now, for drinking. Caramel. Tart fruit, possibly cooking apples. Some tannins (likely from the casks, plus the bourbon casks and white oak). Nuts or perhaps more wood. A distinct spice note. A hint of vanilla and cream was subtly present.

Adolph Schumacher 3.8

Whiskey that's completely effortless to enjoy. Tastes great! A powerful fruit flavor that leaves a warm, tingling sensation on the tongue. I'd drink it again.

Dudley Hobson 3.0

Pale straw color, with a sweet aroma. The finish is pleasantly sweet and inoffensive.
