About this bottle
This marks the seventh annual release of Brown-Forman's King of Kentucky Bourbon. Its composition is 79% corn, 11% rye, and 10% malted barley, distilled between July 19, 2007, and November 15, 2007. The bourbon aged for 16 years in G and J warehouses and was assembled from 63 barrels selected from them. As these are single barrel bottlings, the proof varies by barrel, typically ranging from approximately 125 to 135. Production is capped at 5,100 bottles as of September 2024, with a suggested retail price of $349.99.

It's decent, but don't buy into the hype surrounding these. The nose is very dusty, leathery, and sweet, which is fantastic. The palate is quite hot and tannic. Nothing particularly special.
