An unexpected Jameson release; I was quite keen to sample it, having seen it in a few places but never tried it. I wasn't sure what to anticipate, as the stout version wasn't my favorite and the "Round" version was fantastic, representing my two most recent Jameson experiences. Let's discuss the whiskey. Presented at 40% ABV, with a burnished gold hue. On the nose, it's incredibly inviting and very fruity. It begins with malted barley and some grain whiskey aromas. This is followed by rich creamy vanilla, a subtle plum aroma, stewed red apples, and rich fondant. The grain whiskey is present in the aroma, with a beautiful citrus quality; yellow apples and cider. It's quite complex and fruity. On the palate, this is undeniably the creamiest whiskey I've ever encountered. Abundant very creamy vanilla, corn, and maize. Simple, yet delightful. The aftertaste was the least impressive aspect of this enjoyable dram. There's a minimal burn, notes of hay and pepper; mostly a grainy finish. It resembles "candycris," a candied almond confection sold in Ecuador. Overall, I genuinely enjoyed this whiskey. The appealing aroma and exceptionally creamy palate contributed most significantly. I would recommend it; I don't find it expensive at all. My rating is 81 out of 100, though it certainly feels like more.

The familiar Jameson characteristics are present, but complemented by several more intricate and profound flavors. The aroma is a bit spicier with faint lemon zest and a touch of cinnamon. It's a very sweet drink, with the added casks imparting more fruit than standard Jameson. Cherry and dried red fruit, banana and citrus, and a deep, lasting caramel and toffee conclusion. If you don't care for sweet whiskey, this likely isn't for you, but it serves as a satisfying after-dinner beverage.

A wonderful whiskey to start with, especially for novices... It's very easy to approach & agreeable for anyone getting accustomed to the world of whiskey! Nose: A mild aroma initially, with traces of vanilla and some noticeable spices towards the end. Palate: Slightly woody, with vanilla, brown sugar, and a lingering spice; not overly warming. Aftertaste: A honey-like, sweet, tingling sensation. This is my very first review, I hope I've done a decent job... Cheers!!

Predominant notes of corn, sugar cane, and a sweetness reminiscent of bourbon and rum. Fresh and light, easy to consume. As noted by another reviewer, it is more akin to a bourbon than an Irish whiskey, which is not necessarily a drawback.

Aroma: vanilla, fruits (apricot, berries), nutmeg Taste: light overall, sweet, fruity, with some molasses. Finish: a few pungent spices, also warming spices. Sweetness and a bit of dryness. The more I consume, the more nuttiness I detect.
