On the nose: Smells of roasted and fresh pineapple with undertones of muscovado sugar. It needs a bit of swirling to release the full scent. On the palate: The texture is quite creamy. Hints of citrus are present. A lighter version of caramelized pineapple. On the finish: Less pineapple flavor, more brown sugar. Light oak notes.

About this bottle
A limited release from Ireland, this whiskey combines Teeling's Small Batch Irish whiskey. It was initially aged in casks that previously held bourbon and Central American rum. The final 12 months of maturation occur in casks that contained Plantation Stiggins' Fancy Pineapple Rum.

Distinct pineapple notes in the aroma; the taste is clearly Teeling, a smooth whiskey, only for the pineapple rum notes to emerge at the end, lingering on your palate. I would definitely purchase this again.
Smell: Pineapple that's been mashed Taste: Malt, dark sugar, pineapple End: Citrus, lingering vanilla
Bitter pineapple, fruity bitter orange. Slightly oily, interesting but I'm not enjoying it.
This proved to be surprisingly successful. It's a wonderfully distinct kind of whiskey.
Notes of tropical fruits, a touch of spice, honey, and vanilla. Oaky.
