Invergordon 42 Year Old Batch 15 (That Boutique-y Whisky Company)

An opulent single grain from the Invergordon distillery, independently bottled by That Boutique-y Whisky Company after aging for a generous 42 years. Batch 15 consists of 665 bottles. It begins aromatically with notes of mango, papaya, Milk bottle sweets, chocolate buttons, charred oak, and a trace of Ready Salted crisps. Its rich life unfolds with notes of fried plantain, apple skins, chili chocolate, old leather, and clove stick, leading to a long and warming conclusion with notes of Brandy snaps, desiccated coconut, and dark chocolate mousse.
