This was the first of ten whiskies I sampled last night at an Adelphi event. I plan to share brief notes on all of them. We began with this very old grain whisky, something I don't believe I've encountered before. The aroma was reminiscent of a top-tier rye, grassy with a hint of mint. The palate presented sweet caramel with a long, creamy finish. Delicious! If tasted blind, I would have mistaken it for a very good bourbon.
