Quick Note: This distillery began operation in 1959 to offer jobs when the Royal Navy departed. I was fortunate to acquire a taste from a batch of 140 bottles. Unsurprisingly, Adelphi has delivered excellence once more. They have handled a magnificent 43-year-old spirit with care. Richness of rum and sherry. A superb dram. Curiously, the merchant's description mentions an ex-Bourbon cask, yet there's likely a significant sherry cask finish. It retailed for approximately $400 USD when released, but appears to be completely sold out now. 4.25
