My wife purchased this bottle believing it was Tequila. I'm unsure if I would have selected it myself. I poured some into a Glencairn and was surprised by its fresh, citrusy aroma. Smoke developed within seconds, reminding me of a peated scotch. I tried it neat, and it had a great full body and was easy to drink. I added a very small piece of ice to cool it. I am thoroughly enjoying this Mezcal.
Consumed neat, a gift from a friend. He surprised us, and this is really fresh! Delicious smoke on the nose and palate. It starts off hot initially but finishes smoothly. I'll try it over ice and revisit.
