About this bottle

Richard Hennessy established Hennessy in 1765. Originally from County Cork, Ireland, Richard joined the Irish Brigade at age 20, serving King Louis XV of France. After 12 years in the French army, he settled in the Charente region and entered the eau de vie trade. This specific bottling was first produced in 1996 and contains eaux de vie aged between 40 and 200 years. It is presented in a hand-blown Baccarat crystal decanter.

A friend bought me a glass of this at the club recently. It didn't complement my grape swishers. 0.75 stars because it didn't get me intoxicated.

Kristine Stockton 4.0

The aroma featured more fruit and a hint of fennel; the taste was smooth but understated. Also, the bottle design is quite impressive.
