About this bottle
Brothers Iain and Donald Hart established their independent bottling business in 1964, with their sibling Alistair joining them later. Serving as Master Blender, Alistair selects vintage single malt whisky casks from distilleries throughout Scotland. These whiskies are then blended and further aged in first-fill bourbon casks. This specific expression undergoes a finishing process in first-fill port pipes before being bottled without chill-filtration or the addition of caramel coloring.
