About this bottle
Germain-Robin Brandy, established in 1982, is an American brand that integrates cognac production methods with grapes grown in California. E.J. Gallo Winery acquired the brand in 2017. The recently re-released XO expression was developed with input from co-founder Hubert Germain-Robin and Gallo's master distiller David Warter. It is primarily crafted from California pinot noir grapes, distilled in an alambic still, and matured in French Limousin oak, before being bottled at 80 proof. Only 900 six-pack cases were available for 2020.
