About this bottle

This XO expression from Courvoisier is a blend of eaux de vie primarily from Grande Champagne, with the inclusion of very old eaux de vie from Borderies and a selection from Petite Champagne. The final blend contains components aged between 11 and 25 years. It was initially created in 1984 by Daniel Dumon, who was the Chief Blender at that time. The suggested retail price is $200.

Monty Coy 4.0

Two people finished most of this bottle quickly. It has a pleasant aroma of orange, oak, cocoa, coffee, leather, and violet. The body is medium to full, with sweet scents and a smooth texture. It presents notes of leather, oak, wood, orange, plum, vanilla, violet, and a subtle hint of pepper and spice. It's easy to sip, with occasional spice, and has a medium to long aftertaste featuring dark chocolate and cocoa. Nothing stands out excessively, but it's delicious overall. A great choice for enjoying throughout the evening!

Ted Adkins 4.8

This Cognac XO is truly top-tier. It has an amber hue, intricate aromas, notes of dried fruit, well-integrated oak, a full body, and an elegant, rich, developed flavor with a long finish.

[Whiskey Live Paris 2015] Unfortunately, I had already tasted over 20 spirits by this point. I would appreciate another chance to try it!

Maurice Malcolm 4.0

Absolutely, pass the Courvoisier. The XO version is considerably smoother, in my opinion. A good spirit for sipping, or you can down it quickly to get intoxicated.

Darryl Arredondo 5.0

Very fragrant, flavorful, and smooth brandy. If you can get it at a good price, it's definitely worth picking up!

Jolene Gunter 4.0

Deep flavor but a short nose. Strong aromas of maple and amber. Smoke with a touch of sweetness
