An elegant Irish Whiskey from Master Distiller David F. Hynes at Finvara Distillery in Fort of Dealgan, Ireland. It's made from grains and malted barley, triple-distilled in copper pot stills, and aged in both bourbon and Sherry casks before being bottled at 43% ABV. It has an aromatic beginning with notes of grain, wood, dried fruit, herbs, and spices. The rich mid-palate reveals notes of caramel, sweet toffee, honey, and butterscotch, culminating in a quick and delicate finish with hints of oak, pepper, vanilla, and chocolate.

This Irish whiskey presents a more intricate flavor profile than I typically encounter from this category. It's a respectable sipper but lacks the smoothness I usually expect from Irish whiskey, offering a character closer to bourbon or rye in some respects. It would perform excellently as a mixer in an Old Fashioned or similar cocktails. Despite tasting like a younger spirit, it represents outstanding value at its current price.
From the Flaviar Advent 2025 #19. Its appearance is a clear, golden amber with medium-lasting legs. The scent presents notes of spice, bread, tobacco, and earth. On the palate, you'll find caramel, fruit, spice, and bread. It has a light body with moderate, low carbonation. 8/4/9/4/17 4.2
A lovely golden color with attractive streaks in the glass. The aroma is dominated by fusil alcohol and honey notes, with malt present on the mid-palate. It has a spicy finish and drinks smoothly.
A standard Irish whiskey. It's smooth with an apple-like flavor.
