First sampled this at the location two years ago, and it was quite potent. It has mellowed considerably in the cellar. Oak, honey, and charred caramel on the nose. A smooth and accessible initial taste followed by a gentle warmth, oak, char, red wine, and cereal grains. The finish is sweet and smooth, ending slightly dry.
